A controller acts as a senior executive who manages an organization's financial health. You will be responsible for analyzing trends and data and implementing finance-related decisions for the financial stability of an organization. A controller leads an organization's accounting department and monitors its financial status.
In addition to managing payroll, budget, and financial statements, the person in this position oversees all areas of the financial department. Controllers make sure companies have established systems and procedures to conduct audits. As a controller, you will supervise the accounting team and ensure tax compliance.
