Mother-Daughter Team to Co-Lead Operations of the Brooksville Office

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Spherion Staffing and Recruiting (Spherion) recently announced that Teri Nichols, the current owner of the Brooksville office, is bringing on her daughter and long-time staffing professional Lindsey Hack as co-owner of her Brooksville location.

“I am immensely honored to be joining my mom as a co-franchisee so that we can continue to grow and meet Brooksville’s staffing needs,” said Hack. “Growing up with my mom in the Spherion community, I have always admired her commitment to helping others become successful. I feel fortunate for the opportunity to have spent time in all the core roles at our office and am looking forward to leveraging my creativity to build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, my networking partners and other community stakeholders in this position.”

Lindsey Hack

Hack, who was born and raised near Brooksville, has built a dynamic career at Spherion with more than 20 years of staffing and recruiting industry experience. She has been preparing to join her mother as a co-franchisee in the family business since she was a child, gaining perspective through various temporary assignments when she turned 18 before working her way through each of the different roles in the office including Branch Manager, Professional Recruiter, and Senior Business Development Manager. With a powerful mentor in Nichols, Hack’s transition reflects her continued dedication to the Brooksville community.

“I’m incredibly excited for Lindsey to join me in owning and operating the business that I’ve been building for the past 14 years,” said Nichols. “We have always planned that Lindsey would eventually join me as co-franchisee. After gaining years of sales and leadership experience within and outside the staffing industry, we knew that it was finally time for her to transition into an even bigger leadership role in the office. Her dedication and expertise make her the perfect partner to continue delivering exceptional staffing solutions to our clients, many of whom she’s already earned positive results for.”

Nichols has made the Brooksville office an integral part of the community over her 40-year career with Spherion. Her leadership and commitment to the success of job seekers and businesses in Pasco, Hernando, and Citrus counties have solidified her reputation as a staffing expert with colleagues and clients. The Brooksville office actively contributes to community development by participating in the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Greater Hernando Chamber of Commerce and Citrus County Chamber of Commerce. Both Nichols and Hack’s involvement extends to organizations like the Nature Coast SHRM and the Pasco Economic Development Council reflects the office’s deep-rooted belief in advancing local business and employment opportunities.

Each Spherion office enriches its community by connecting and facilitating employment opportunities every day—and when successful, the office and its investments flow back into the neighborhoods it serves. The power of Spherion is in its local roots.
