Responsibilities:
Oversee the loading and unloading of structural steel shipments from suppliers and onto flatbed trucks.
Ensure that all materials are stored, organized, and documented correctly in the yard.
Coordinate daily yard activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
Work closely with the production team to ensure materials are ready for projects.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the yard.
Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
Oversee the airless prime painting system for structural steel, handrails, and other steel components.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Skills:
Experience in steel yard operations or a related field (handling structural steel preferred).
Proficiency in operating forklifts, telehandlers, and heavy equipment for material handling.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and track shipments.
Familiarity with shipping documentation, BOLs, and load lists.
Basic understanding of airless prime painting systems and steel coatings (preferred).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an outdoor yard environment.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume yard environment.
