- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations to meet company goals, ensuring smooth coordination of daily activities at the Waynesboro, GA facility.- Work closely with the General Manager to maintain smooth workflows across all distribution centers.- Prepare and manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, allocate operating budgets, and negotiate purchase orders in line with company policy.- Review and analyze operational metrics and reports to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 1-4 managers. Responsible for employee hiring, training, performance management, and, if necessary, terminations.- Act as the company?s OSHA and safety officer, ensuring safety programs are in place, conducting training, and assessing safety risks. Responsible for compliance with all safety protocols.- Build and execute productivity plans, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives to optimize operations, processes, and resources.- Oversee warehouse site maintenance, facility improvements, and manage the expansion of all warehouse locations.- Regularly review key performance indicators (KPIs) with the CEO, reporting on warehouse operations and productivity.- Periodic travel to company-owned facilities and third-party logistics (3PL) partners required.

- 5-10 years of experience in business operations, including warehouse, facilities management, and safety.- Bachelor?s degree in a related field.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and policies.- Proficiency in using ERP (Net Suite), Warehouse Management Software (WMS), MS Office Suite, and spreadsheet software.- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, make data-driven decisions, and improve processes.- Strong commitment to workplace safety and security, identifying and addressing unsafe conditions.- Consistently meets deadlines, holds self and team accountable, and works extended hours as necessary to meet operational goals.- Directly supervises a team of managers and staff, ensuring effective training, performance management, and safety. Also oversees independent contractors as required.
