Crematory Operations:-Oversee crematory operations at multiple locations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.-Receive, cremate, process, and package human remains as needed.-Implement and manage a cremation barcode tracking system for security and operational efficiency.-Schedule pick-ups and coordinate the return of cremated remains to customers.-Maintain all necessary paperwork, ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines.-Manage customer expectations regarding cremation timing and service quality.-Schedule routine maintenance on cremation equipment and ensure operational efficiency.Cremation Product & Inventory Management:-Ensure proper inventory levels of urns, temporary containers, air trays, and related cremation products.-Oversee cremation product orders, ensuring timely processing and fulfillment.-Fill cremation products with cremated remains as required.-Handle engraving orders, verifying accuracy in spelling, dates, and other details.Monument & Cemetery Operations:-Install monuments at cemeteries, ensuring timely completion per schedule and weather conditions.-Sandblast and engrave last dates on existing stones as per customer requests.-Take and document photos of monuments for sizing and customization purposes.-Receive and inspect newly arrived monuments for quality assurance.-Maintain monument installation equipment and ensure adequate inventory of necessary supplies.-Schedule deliveries and installation of precast products.Purchasing & Logistics:-Research, compare, and negotiate terms with potential vendors for cremation and monument-related supplies.-Manage vendor contracts and purchasing agreements.-Create and maintain liner load orders for inventory control.-Monitor stock levels and process purchase orders as needed.Fleet & Equipment Management:-Ensure cremation and monument service vehicles are properly maintained, repaired, or replaced as needed.-Operate heavy equipment including cranes, dump trucks (CDL preferred), and other tools required for cemetery and crematory operations.-Assist in plant operations, including manual labor tasks such as lifting and installing products over 100 lbs.-Support marketing and customer service teams by providing operational insights and service details.-Perform seasonal maintenance, including snow removal, to ensure safe working conditions.

-Previous experience in monument installation, engraving, or sandblasting.-Knowledge of cremation industry laws and regulations.-Experience in fleet maintenance and vendor negotiations.-Familiarity with barcode tracking systems and logistics software.-Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without direct supervision.
-Experience in cremation services, cemetery operations, or related fields preferred.-Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.-Manual labor experience with the ability to lift and install heavy products daily.-Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and extreme temperatures.-Valid driver?s license (CDL preferred but not required).-Strong communication and customer service skills.-Experience with inventory management and purchasing processes.-Technical ability to operate crematory equipment and heavy machinery.
