The Warehouse Lead Order Selector will assist in coordinating daily warehouse activities ensuring processes and staff are efficient; orders are picked correctly and loaded on the correct truck; and warehouse is kept clean. This is a working lead position that will help direct 14 Warehouse staff members alongside another lead. Picking, stacking, stocking, rotating, and packing items (chips, pop, and candy). Operating a forklift and pallet jack. The Lead will also monitor attendance, delegate tasks, and coach and train all warehouse employees. They will lead by example, fill in for the manager when he is out, and have input on performance reviews.

The two Warehouse Lead positions share a ROTATING SCHEDULE that works Monday through Friday and Sunday. Later shift requires locking up the Warehouse.
This position is roughly 40 Hours/Week (for full time employees) and these are some of the available working days and some of the available working hours.
WAREHOUSE HOURS: Sunday - Friday (Closed Saturday)
- Sunday Warehouse Hours 8AM to Finish (approx. 5PM)
- Mon-Thurs Warehouse Hours 8AM to Finish (approx. 6–7PM)
- Fri Warehouse Hours 10AM to Finish (approx. 3PM)
*Finish times in the summer may be approx 1hr later due to high volume
*When you work Sunday you get a day off during the week of your choice
- PAY RANGE: $20-$23/HR
- Advancement & Growth Opportunities: Potentially grow into a Route Driver position if desired or work towards a Direct Customer Service role doing customer visits, cleaning the micro market, and checking in with the customer on their needs.

Responsibilities:
- Understand the role of the warehouse and the impact the order selectors have on our customers.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with other Leads. Collaborate workload with other Lead and provide coverage when other Lead has time off.
- Train new hires, recommend and implement new training strategies.
- Work with supervisor on resolving errors, recommended new process to prevent future errors.
- Coach employees with performance or productivity issues.
- Recognize staffing needs. Assist with determining staffing levels and assigning workload; to include training and cross-training. Flexible with schedule, willing to work additional hours or different hours to cover staffing shortage.
- Assist with staffing/scheduling (holidays, change in weather, customer???s needs change, vacation, employees calling in sick or not showing up, etc.)
- Stock and back stock snack and beverage in the morning and throughout the day.
- Ensure end of day tasks are completed. Responsible for closing and locking warehouse.
- Lead by example, fill in for the manager when they are out, and have input on performance reviews.
Skills:
- 2 years warehouse experience preferred.
- Lead experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Warehouse experience.
- Forklift certified or capable of being certified.
- Valid Non-CDL Class D drivers license and good driving record.
- People skills
- Someone who is confident and comfortable with leading, has a voice and is coachable.
- Clear communication and reasoning skills
- Proven attendance record
- Attention to detail
- Able to problem solve and work as a team
- Able to lift 54lbs and push/pull 95lbs
