Spherion Staffing in Conway, SC, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse General Laborer with Forklift Experience to join our team in Georgetown, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including operating forklifts to move materials, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, stacking products, and organizing inventory.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are correctly labeled and meet quality standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, maintain accurate records, and report any discrepancies to management.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and participate in safety training sessions.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including sweeping, disposing of debris, and performing routine equipment checks.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Skills:
- Ensuring accuracy in tasks such as order picking and inventory management to maintain high-quality standards
- Clear verbal and written communication to interact efficiently with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to identify issues, think critically, and implement effective solutions to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing work demands and schedules to meet operational needs
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory systems to efficiently track and manage stock levels.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Proven experience and certification in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require bending, reaching, and climbing
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices, including adherence to OSHA regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Experience in conducting regular inventory counts, maintaining accurate records, and reporting discrepancies to management
