Job Description: Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Underwriting team as a Policy Service Technician. This role is pivotal in supporting the department by ensuring efficient processing and management of policy documents and data.
Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, agents, and other departments both verbally and through written correspondence.
Accurately enter and manage assigned source documents.
Interpret and apply verbal and written instructions, manuals, and rate charts.
Maintain and organize records and policy files according to established guidelines.
Assist in developing reports and prepare requests for reports as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned within the department or in other areas as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Associate Degree preferred; minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient keyboarding skills with a minimum of 40 WPM.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to interpret and manage data.
Capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously.

1-4 years

Proven ability to follow complex instructions and guidelines.
Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
