traveling operations & maintenance specialist.

This is a full-time direct-hire opening. The individual hired for this position will be required to travel a minimum of 75% of the year with much of this travel being regionally focused in Central Florida. This position comes with a company-provided vehicle, paid travel time, and straight overtime pay for hours worked over 40/week!

The pay rate is $30 to $43 per hour. Benefits include Personal and Family Health coverage, 401(k) Pre-tax or Roth Contributions, Vacation time, Sick time, Paid Parental Leave, and Company Paid short and long-term disability.

In this role, you will support operations through project transitions, providing technical support, backfilling management positions, provide assistance for process control or trouble shooting activities, working with various software technologies, and potentially perform day to day operations.

Responsibilities:
-Work with Area Managers and Project Managers to support project demands.
-Provide technical support and training onsite to implement the Asset Management Program.
-Utilize technical platforms for data collection: Utility Cloud Hach WIMS, Do Forms, Power BI, etc.
-Provide operations and maintenance support at water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
-Experience with utility technology software including Hachs Water Information Management System (Hach WIMS) is a plus.
-Knowledge of the water and wastewater industry to include equipment, controls, and process.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
-Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments including inclement weather.
-Solid water and wastewater background which may include certifications and licenses.
-Supervisory experience.
-Willingness to travel to support assigned projects and assist with emergency event repair and recovery efforts.
