We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Mold Toolsetter to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding molds used in our manufacturing process. The Toolsetter will work closely with Production Management, Quality Control, and Shift Supervisors to ensure the molds and tooling equipment operate efficiently and meet production requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience with a variety of shop tools and machinery.

Responsibilities:
Tool Room & Mold Maintenance
-Repair, rebuild, and fabricate components for molds as needed.
-Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of molds.
-Ensure all molds are prepared and ready for production according to schedule.
-Execute mold changeovers at the press following established procedures.
Production Support & Quality Control
-Ensure compliance with Food Safety Program (GMP) and all relevant safety and quality regulations.
-Identify and report mold issues that could impact product quality or production efficiency.
-Work closely with Production Management and Quality Control to address mold-related concerns.
-Assist in optimizing mold change processes to improve production efficiency.
Safety & Compliance
-Adhere to all company PPE requirements, including hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hairnets, and beard nets when necessary.
-Report safety hazards and shut down equipment as needed to prevent injuries or product defects.
-Follow OSHA guidelines for operating machinery and handling tools in the tool room.
Other Responsibilities
-Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring that mold setting areas are clear.
-Coordinate with Shift Supervisors and Production Teams to align mold maintenance with production needs.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Tool Room Manager.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
-Previous experience in injection molding environments.
-Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems related to mold operation.
-Experience with inventory management and mold tracking software.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience in repairing, setting, and cleaning injection molds.
-Ability to fabricate parts and troubleshoot complex mold issues.
-Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with grinders, welders, shot blasters, drill presses, and other tool room equipment.
-Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
