We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Scanner for a temporary assignment at a local banking institution. This part-time position requires careful document handling, digital file management, and tax document organization in a professional banking environment.
Assignment Duration:

Duration may vary based on document volume and workflow needs
Schedule:
Part-time: 20 hours per week
Specific schedule to be determined based on department needs
Compensation:
Pay rate: $18-20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Clean, climate-controlled office setting
Mix of seated and standing work
Responsibilities:
Operate copier/scanner to process various types of tax documents and financial records
Assemble and organize personal tax documents for tax preparation
Sort and categorize tax forms, receipts, and supporting documentation
Ensure proper document preparation (removing staples, straightening pages, etc.)
Verify scan quality and readability of all digitized documents
Organize and index scanned documents according to established protocols
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Handle original documents with care and attention
Follow proper document retention and destruction procedures
Maintain organized files and scanning logs
Report any equipment issues or scanning errors promptly
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in tax preparation office or banking environment
Experience with high-volume scanning and document management
Familiarity with document management software
Basic understanding of file naming conventions and digital organization

High School

Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience operating professional copier/scanner equipment
Knowledge of personal tax document organization and preparation
Understanding of common tax forms and documentation
