Position Details:
- Schedule: 32 hours per week (flexible but must be consistent)
- Duration: End of May - July/August 2025
Responsibilities:
Hiring & Onboarding:
- Post job openings on Indeed and review applicants
- Conduct brief phone screenings and schedule interviews
- Run background checks and send out offer letters
- Complete new hire paperwork and import employees into iSolved (payroll system)
Payroll Support:
- Review timecards biweekly, correct errors, and preview payroll before submission (payroll is submitted by the Accounting Manager)
- Benefits Administration
- Conduct benefit meetings for new hires who become eligible
- Assist employees with benefit enrollments
- Audit the first payroll to ensure proper benefit deductions
Company Events:
- Plan and coordinate monthly summer BBQs for employees
Skills & Qualifications:
- HR experience (one year minimum)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with iSolved or similar payroll/HRIS software is a plus
