Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic quality strategy for incoming goods.Assist drawing packages review for quotation that require enhancements or corrections to ensureclarity for new and existing suppliers.Responsible for the maintenance of supplier guideline notifications to all suppliers.Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to reduce defect rates.Assure vendor compliance with company's quality standards and procedures regarding calendar evaluations, performance monitoring (OTD, Defect Rate) and other audit requirements.Assist in the continued monitoring of supplier approval status.Maintain detailed reports on supplier quality, including defect rates and areas that result in flaws.Review and process, as appropriate to stated procedures, Vendor Quality notifications or Scars.Provide reviews and suggestions on procedures regarding improvement or creation.Implement methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support supplierquality and review.Adhere to established company policies, procedures, terms and conditions and legal matters.Participates as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions.Participates in MRB and CAR meetings to resolve quality issues working with both internal andexternal resources.Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligningcompany policies that adhere to local, state and federal environmentalEnforcing and monitoring of internal KPIs for materials activity (tracking and resolution) andexternal KPIs for vendors including the delivery, quality, attitude and response to CI Events.Assist in the root cause investigation of discrepancies in all stages of production.Prepares routine and special reports as requiredAssumes leadership role in working with key internal company personnel to establish sound andeffective business strategiesMay perform other duties as assigned.

At least 5 years of experience in a design and manufacturing environment including CNC production.At least 2 years of CNC and Fabricated Part Inspection and Documentation experienceTechnical Certification, GD&T Analysis or 4 year degree preferred.Experience in total quality, six sigma, or other similar environments.Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.Ability to demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills.Ability to obtain a security clearance.Must be willing to travel
