Our client is seeking a State & Local Tax (SALT) Manager for their Atlanta, GA office. This role offers the opportunity to assist clients with business restructuring, adapting to new tax laws, and staying updated on local tax developments. The SALT Manager will assess state and local tax burdens and provide solutions to align with clients' business objectives. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with state tax laws and identifying indirect tax opportunities related to business growth, systems, cash flow, and policies.

Responsibilities:
Deliver profitable SALT services to clients
Lead and manage the SALT practice
Provide high-quality tax advice and consultation to meet client expectations
Research and resolve technical SALT issues
Prepare technical memoranda and client deliverables
Oversee tax assignments and coordinate client information flow
Review work papers and state tax returns
Participate in billing and collection processes
Identify additional service opportunities for clients
Mentor and develop team members
Analyze complex ideas and offer meaningful recommendations
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
