- Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for general ledger accounts.- Monitor and report on daily cash and bank balances.- Maintain fixed asset ledger and conduct inventories.- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management and board reports.- Research month over month and budget variances in monthly financials and summarize findings.- Prepare annual budget and forecast worksheets, working with department managers to ensure the strategies and initiatives of management are articulated and communicated in the budget process.- Assist in preparation of supporting documentation and schedules for the quarterly NCUA Call Report.- Assist in the preparation of reports and schedules necessary to support the annual audit and other audits and exams.- Support branch employees by researching and responding to questions related to teller and account activity. - Serve as active team member in organization project development and implementation.- Continuing education to the extent necessary to remain current on accounting and regulatory guidance and technical skills relevant to this position.

- Strong attention to detail.- Strong accounting skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.- 1-2 years accounting experience preferred.- Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to sensitive information.- Completes mandatory annual BSA training that includes Red Flag, Identity Theft, OFAC, CTR and SAR reporting and thresholds, as well as the safe keeping of member information, and passes any applicable tests.
