The Senior Quality Assurance and Quality Control (Sr. QA&QC) oversees the facility's strategies, objectives and operational status to ensure the highest quality processes, products and deadlines are met. Sr. QA&QC will review quality testing policies and procedures to ensure all regulatory standards in electronics manufacturing are followed including, but not limited, to ITAR & ISO standards.

Responsibilities:
Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and standards to obtain information such as specified material, electrical, cosmetic requirements and workmanship instructions.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of circuit board assemblies to ensure workmanship, specifications & quality standards comply with the appropriate requirements from engineering drawings, process specifications, IPC-610 standards, J-STD-001, Safety standards
Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) that complies to business needs, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Oversee inspection of incoming materials, in-process material/product, and final product prior to delivery to ensure requirements are met.
Perform and record results of first article inspections of boards and input data into data base. (FAR & FAIR)
Performs X-Ray validations and ensure adherence to IPC standards by monitoring the Hidden Solder Joints on bottom terminated type components.
Perform SMT line, in-process, sub-assembly, final, shipping, and receiving inspection as required Review and analyze collected data for management review on set company objectives.
Performs inspections utilizing the 2D/3D AOI machine.
PCB, PCA, Box Build and Cable Inspection
Uses precision measuring instruments such as, but not limited to smart tweezers, calipers and pin gauges to determine adherence of electrical and dimensional specifications.
Maintain detailed records of inspection and testing results, including measurements, observations, and any defects or non-conformities found.
Internal and/or External Auditing.
Use computer to review various types of documents and navigate within internal system.
Interface with all level of employees on all quality related matters to include customer complaints and return material (RMA).
Interface with customers and external parties such as registrars and regulatory agencies.
Lead all employees through training to understand and implement business, customer, and industry requirements ensuring the highest standards.
Possess strong leadership and team building skills to guide work activities and help team members further develop their skills in his/her department.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific quality standards and regulations, such as, but not limited to ISO standards, ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485
Minimal travel for training and/or facility visits.

Essential skills and experience:
IPC 610/620, J-STD-001 certification
Working knowledge of IPC Standards.
Working knowledge of ITAR Compliance
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to read, interpret, and explain statutory and regulatory requirements to all levels of employees.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and adjust priorities as needed and on short notice.
Consistently meet deadlines.
Familiarity with manufacturing practices (GMPs).
Computer proficiency: Microsoft applications, Google & various databases.
Calendar management.
Ability to learn through shadowing and following documented procedures
Education:
Minimum of BS/BA degree with at least 3 years quality assurance and 1 year of mana
