Responsibilities:
- Set-up, adjust and operate all machines in assigned area.
- Operate high precision machines performing required operations.
- Instruct personnel in the proper setup procedures, including the use of correct tooling, methods for machine adjustments, measuring devices/techniques, process control methods, etc.
- Solve and/or participate in solution of issues related to process, documentation, machine, and quality, including recommendations for new equipment or processes.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance in an efficient and safe manner.
- Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify Supervisor of hazardous situations.
- Participate in and take proactive roles in AS9100, ISO and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification, and solution verification.
Skills:
Qualifications:
- HS diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience performing set-ups on similar production equipment.
- Must be a US Citizen
