This position will report directly to the Supervisor and be responsible for visually inspecting, monitoring the filling process, and manually packing of finished productESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)Maintain and work in a safe environmentConstruct cartonsSeal boxes with hand-held tape gun or put through taping machineStack boxes on palletsVisually inspect and manually pack bags of product into boxesEnsure packing requirements are metRecognizing product quality issuesUnderstand the information on the lead labelPour on rework either upstairs or in the oven roomFill out all paperwork completely as requiredRecognize and report bad product to supervisorGeneral housekeeping in work areaFollow all safety rules and policiesFollow all general work rules and policiesRegular attendanceAble to follow directions as required by managementPerform shut down procedures and start up procedures as directed by supervisorAll other duties as assigned by management
