Spherion is seeking skilled employees to build structures out of bricks, concrete blocks, and other types of natural stone. You'd be working on many different types of structures, including walls, chimneys, walkways, and fences, among others.

A mason's duties will depend on the exact nature of their job to some extent. But they're commonly asked to assist in creating the layout and frames for buildings and roofs. Masons are also sometimes asked to tear down and rebuild structures. They might cut openings into walls, ceilings, and floors as a part of this process.
Responsibilities:
- Mix and prepare cement, bricks, and mortar for structures
- Cut and shape materials until they meet the client's specifications
- Assist in the creation of chimneys, walls, frames, walkways, and other structures
- Interpret technical drawings and follow their instructions
- Do your part to maintain our tools and workspaces
- Lift and carry bricks, concrete blocks, and stones from place to place
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Skills:
Masons need to be physically strong and capable of using a wide variety of tools and techniques.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a mason apprenticeship or previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Physical ability to perform manual labor for most of the day
- Familiarity with commonly used mason techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
