Forklift operators are required to have at least 6 months of experience with BOTH Sit down forklifts and reach trucks. Candidates will move palletized products to designated locations and assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Occasional lifting may be required so candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for the duration of their shifts.
Ken's Foods is a food manufacturing facility that makes condiments and salad dressings. Due to this facility handling and processing food products, GMP guidelines must be following at all times. This means that candidates must wear steel toed shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, hairnets, and smocks while on the facility floor. Candidates are NOT able to wear nail polish, fake nails, fake eyelashes, or eyelash extensions.

Responsibilities:
This position requires team members to accurately and efficiently pick orders while using first in first out (FIFO) methods to fulfill customer orders.
This individual is responsible for various warehouse functions, processes and operations in a very fast paced food manufacturing/distribution facility.
Maneuvering forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport
Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures
-Accurately and efficiently pick orders while using first in first out (FIFO) methods to fulfill customer orders
-Operate RF Scanner
-Follow all Security and GMP policies
-Inspect work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basis
-Assist with general warehouse duties
-Lift and move products up to 50 pounds
-Ability to stand for duration of shift
Working hours: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM
