Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers in a respectful manner by providing relevant information which creates mutual understanding of any corrective action needed.
- Research customer service and product quality issues to independently determine the right action needed to resolve the problem at hand.
- Ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
- Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Self-manage assigned work schedules and work orders, dependably schedule appointments with customers and coworkers.
- Complete and submit required paperwork that is neat, accurate, thorough and timely.
- Keep team members informed as needed of customer interactions & actions taken.
- Follow established procedures and make recommendations for process improvement.
- Ensures material is available to perform on-site service work. Keep service area neat and organized.
- Inventory service stock area of warehouse; request material replenishment as needed.
Skills:
- Technical Knowledge of Windows and Doors helpful, or able to learn: Understanding of window and door products, installation processes, and maintenance requirements.
- Technical degree or Associates of Arts degree preferred
Qualifications:
- Warranty Processing and Claims Management: Familiarity with processing warranty claims, documentation, and managing warranty periods.
- Customer Service: Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide support throughout the warranty process.
- Problem-Solving: Skills to diagnose issues, propose solutions, and coordinate repairs or replacements effectively.
- Communication Skills: Clear communication with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in documentation, claim details, and service schedules.
- Time Management and Scheduling: Coordinating appointments, field technician schedules, and follow-ups on service cases.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP Systems: Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or other service tracking tools.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with manufacturing, sales, and field service teams to address warranty issues efficiently.
- 4-5 years of previous customer service experience
- Able to build relationship with customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
