Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly. Implement procedures that ensure continued operational excellence throughout the plant.
- Interface with production operators and engineering to establish product standards and methods for inspection, testing, and product qualification.
- Interpret technical documentation related to product manufacturing and acceptability such as schematics; engineering drawings, customer-controlled specifications, and military/industry standards.
- Implement, improve, and maintain all key matrices. Records, summarizes, and presents data/information significant to department operations.
- Sets-up and operate different types of mechanical, electronic, and precision measurement equipment. Provides support and test procedures for quality acceptance.
- Monitor trends in quality data (yields, defects per million, scrap, CARs), executes corrective actions and identifies continual improvement opportunities in response to product and/or process failures.
Qualifications:
- AAS in a related discipline is required.
- 3-5 years relevant manufacturing and/or quality experience.
- BS degree in an Engineering or related discipline may be used in lieu of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen
