Spherion is seeking a hands-on Senior CNC Machinist with technical knowledge and machine programming skills for a manufacturing company in Bradenton, FL.
Responsibilities:
Responsible to complete a first piece inspection record at the start of each work order and ensure
the specifications are maintained throughout the production order

Ability to understand schematics, blueprints, part drawings and inspection sheets.
Experienced with production planning, programming, tooling requirements and machine
maintenance programs to achieve optimal OEE.
Prepare test runs to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
Must be able to setup Swiss type CNC machines such as STAR 32J; SW20; SB12 or similar.
Supervise the machines while they are running and make any adjustments as needed.
Inspect, measure and approve finished products and compare them with requirements to
determine if the process has been accurately completed.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Skills:
Five years of working experience as a Machinist.
Advanced skills using precision measuring tools such as: calipers, micrometers and gauges.
Education:
High School
Experience:
7-10 years
Qualifications:
Experience with Swiss type CNC machines such as STAR 32J; SW20; SB12 or similar.
Able to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
Attention to detail.
