What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead & Develop the Sales Team – Oversee a team of 7-10 sales professionals, mentoring and guiding them in sales strategies, customer relationships, and industry expertise.
- Sales Strategy & Execution – Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new opportunities, and expanding key accounts.
- Customer & Partner Relationships – Manage and strengthen relationships with key customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and continued business growth.
- Performance Oversight – Monitor and track team performance using KPI metrics and scorecards, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the sales process.
- Field & Office Balance – Spend approximately 40% in the office and 60% on the road, conducting client meetings, riding along with sales team members, and ensuring seamless customer service.
- Strategic Planning & Business Development – Participate in executive meetings, trade shows (quarterly), and high-level budget and revenue planning discussions.
- Market Expansion & Industry Engagement – Travel within a 3-5 hour radius of Richland County, with occasional longer trips to Texas, Indiana, and other regions to foster business growth.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency – Optimize sales processes, improve customer outreach, and ensure smooth coordination between sales and operations teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven Sales Leadership – Experience managing a sales team, coaching professionals, and driving sales performance.
- Industry Experience – Background in B2B sales, commercial accounts, or a related field (experience in construction, manufacturing, service based, or niche markets a plus).
- Strategic Mindset – Ability to analyze sales pipelines, revenue streams, and market trends to make informed business decisions.
- Relationship Builder – Strong customer service and negotiation skills to develop and maintain key client and vendor relationships.
