restoration techniques used in cleaning content and structures is preferred. Duties will include
structural cleaning as well as content packing, listing, photographing, manipulation and
restorative cleaning; however will lend assistance to other divisions in (minor) demolition,
debris disposal, poly and prep containment set up and removal.
Responsibilities:
Duties below are required once hired on Perm with our client. Ask Spherion for the required job duties for the Temp to Hire role.1) Cleans and restores interiors of homes damaged by fire, smoke, or water, using commercial cleaning equipment
2) Equipped with floor-mounted or portable commercial carpet, upholstery, and interior cleaning machines, tools, and supplies at work site.
3) Cleans carpet, upholstery, floors, walls, ceilings, draperies, windows, and room accessories to remove effects of smoke and water damage such as dirt, soot, stains, mildew, and excess water and moisture, using commercial cleaning machines mounted in van with extension hoses or portable cleaning machines and variety of work aids, such as vacuum cleaners, chemical cleaning solutions, drop cloths, sponges, buckets, mops, and brushes.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Skills:
1+ years (or entry level) experience in cleaning applications
Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience preferred
Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested
Periodic travel may be required
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted (from 35-65% of the time)
- Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time)
- Access and mobility in tight spaces
- Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
