Regulatory Compliance Monitoring & Assessment:- Research and analyze regulatory requirements relevant to the organization?s industry.- Conduct compliance assessments and audits to identify gaps and areas of risk.- Monitor changes in federal, state, and industry regulations and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes.- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS, and other applicable laws.Policy Development & Implementation:- Develop and update company policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure policies are effectively communicated and enforced.- Recommend improvements to existing compliance processes and internal controls.Compliance Risk Management & Reporting:- Identify compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the potential impact of non-compliance.- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies, auditors, and senior management.- Assist with regulatory filings and ensure accurate and timely submission of required reports.Training & Stakeholder Collaboration:- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance requirements and best practices.- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory inquiries and audits.- Work closely with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliance across all business functions.
1-4 years
- Experience in industries with heavy regulatory oversight (e.g., finance, healthcare, technology, or manufacturing).- Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, or PCI-DSS.- Industry certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).- Experience working with compliance software or risk management platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or auditing.- Strong knowledge of federal and industry-specific regulations.- Experience conducting compliance assessments and developing policies.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain regulatory requirements to non-experts.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and compliance management tools.
