Responsibilities:
Lead Research and Development projects from concept to commercialization with a focus on acidified and shelf-stable food and beverage products.
Conduct bench-top sampling, qualitative/quantitative analysis, and process validation.
Develop and define Scheduled Process Authority criteria.
Perform cost analysis for new product initiatives.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and regulatory teams to ensure product safety, labeling accuracy, and process compliance.
Track and manage product development targets using internal systems.
Stay current on industry trends, competitive activities, and functional ingredient innovations.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Skills:
5-10+ years of Research and Development experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
Familiarity with current market developments, ingredient trends, and competitor innovation.
Prior leadership experience in cross-functional project management.

Bachelors

Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Food Science or a technically related field.
Minimum of 5 years? experience in food and beverage R&D, with a focus on acidified and shelf-stable products.
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and food safety requirements.
Proficient in food chemistry and nutritional labeling.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools for labeling and formulation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong analytical and mathematical formulation skills.
Ability to stand and walk in lab environments, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks with repetitive motion.
