We are seeking an experienced QuickBooks Specialist/Office Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth office operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and possess an excellent understanding of construction job costing and invoicing. Office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, and ideal employee can work 3 days/ week with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $16-20/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and manage job costs, invoices, and other financial data in QuickBooks.
- Process and generate checks for vendor payments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
- Generate financial reports as needed.
- Receive and process invoices from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Verify invoice accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Manage filing and organization of documents.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
- Possibly run errands, and handle mail.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a construction industry setting is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with QuickBooks is essential.
- Excellent understanding of job costing and invoicing procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
