The Quality Technician 1 is responsible for various aspects of quality control within the plant. This includes assisting in maintaining customer drawings and specifications, providing necessary paperwork, measuring equipment, and tools to the shop floor for production. The Quality Technician will also assist in the maintenance of the ISO 9001 program, report and assist in answering questions on customer specifications, regularly inspect material being produced, and aid in the evaluation that all quality procedures are being followed and implemented.

Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining customer drawings and specifications.

Provide all necessary paperwork to the shop floor for production.

Provide all necessary measuring equipment and tools to production.
?
Assist in maintenance of the ISO 9001 program.

Report and assist in answering any questions on customer specifications brought forth by the production employees.

Regularly inspect material being produced.

Aid in evaluation that all quality procedures are being followed and implemented
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with metal forming processes.

Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Experience with precision measurement tools.

Competent at basic dimensional measuring
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of measurement techniques.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
