Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular inspections of raw fruits and vegetables to ensure they meet quality standards.
Perform tests on juice products at various stages of production, including pre-production, in-process, and final product testing.
Utilize laboratory equipment to analyze product samples for quality parameters such as pH, brix (sugar content), viscosity, and microbial content.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Identify and report any deviations from quality standards and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper sanitation and hygiene practices are followed throughout the production facility.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control tests and inspections.
Prepare and submit regular quality reports to management.
Document non-conformances and track the implementation of corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and industry standards.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest enhancements to processes and products.
Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
Train production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
Certification in HACCP, SQF, or other food safety management systems.
Experience with sensory evaluation techniques.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control within the food and beverage industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
Proficiency in laboratory testing techniques and equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production teams.
Proficient in using quality control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
