The analyst will work closely with other team members to support the maintenance of the laboratory, ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and assist in investigating out-of-specification (OOS) results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microbiological techniques, laboratory equipment, and regulatory guidelines, with a focus on providing accurate and timely test results. The role demands a detail-oriented, proactive, and team-driven individual with a passion for quality and safety in manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
Conduct environmental monitoring (e.g., air, water, surfaces) and evaluate results.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing.
Ensure all testing is performed in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMP, and company SOPs.
Document results and prepare reports, ensuring accuracy and traceability of data.
Support investigations of OOS results, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Assist with lab inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a GMP environment.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Knowledge of microbiological techniques and laboratory practices.
Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
