Responsibilities:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing and verifying a range of inspections, including visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical evaluations. The role supports various operations, such as source, first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspections, using either company- or customer-supplied drawings, equipment, and procedures. This role requires attention to detail, may involve overtime, and occasional travel as needed.
Review and approve inspection and test data.
Interpret and apply information from mechanical and electrical drawings and procedures.
Interface with customer and government source inspection personnel.
Maintain inspection records per company procedures.
Generate and support corrective and preventive action processes.
Support the Quality Management System.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Skills:
Proficiency in English (reading and writing).
Competency in using basic measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
Basic mathematics and experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) data collection.
Clear, non-correctable vision (not color blind).
Familiarity with AS9102 standards and experience in creating AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.
Three to five years of manufacturing experience.
Three to five years of experience in an inspection role.
