We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products through visual and quantifiable inspections, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, and contributing to a culture of teamwork and excellence. Schedule:
- Assigned 12-hour rotating schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, etc.
- Flexibility for occasional overtime and call-in work required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual, aesthetic, and quantifiable inspections of products.
- Ensure all products meet or exceed customer specifications.
- Perform line changes in adherence to specifications.
- Execute SOR qualifications.
- Maintain compliance with the Food Safety Program (GMP).
- Identify and contain nonconforming products in line with quality procedures.
- Report any safety concerns and shut down unsafe equipment as necessary.
- Communicate deviations from requirements to management.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Previous experience working with laboratory equipment.
- Familiarity with plastic bottle defect standards.
- Knowledge of quality protocols for manufacturing environments.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to quickly and efficiently manipulate objects.
- Information Ordering: Ability to arrange actions or items in a specific order or sequence.
- Near Vision: Ability to see details clearly at close range.
- Flexibility: Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach as needed.
- Speed and Coordination: Ability to perform quick, repeated hand and wrist movements and coordinate multiple limbs.
- Lifting Ability: Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds overhead to a height of six feet.
- Endurance: Ability to walk and/or stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Quality Assurance Knowledge: Proficiency in identifying and addressing quality defects.
