The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day maintenance services to buildings and common areas, ensuring they remain in good condition. Work may be performed directly by the Property Maintenance Technician or through a vendor as directed by Property Managers or the Senior Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities:
-Ensure buildings and common areas are safe and free of hazards for occupants, visitors, and workers.
-Perform suite maintenance, including light fixture repairs, unclogging toilets, addressing leaks, and fixing peeling walls or ceilings.
-Inspect and maintain plumbing and electrical systems to ensure proper working order and regulatory compliance.
-Oversee cleaning and maintenance, such as ensuring toilets are functional, addressing pest control, maintaining walls and ceilings, and coordinating window and door repairs.
-Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, including landscape beds, parking lots, and sidewalks.
-Perform repairs such as graffiti removal, pressure washing, painting, and ensuring trash is properly removed from properties.
-Maintain logs of maintenance performed, communicate with property managers, vendors, and tenants, and report any unusual activities.
-Conduct weekly valve checks and ensure good tenant relations by being courteous and helpful at all times.
Additional Duties:
-Other duties may be assigned by the manager, including assisting with event setup and breakdown as needed.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar property/building maintenance role.
General carpentry and basic electrical knowledge.
Ability to perform minor repairs and fixtures with demonstrated mechanical skills.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and construction codes.
Valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
