Spherion Staffing is partnering with a major employer in the Bryan/College Station area to find a Project Manager to oversee the construction of residential homes from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the homebuilding process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of home construction projects, from pre-construction through final delivery.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure completion within scope and on schedule.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure accurate execution of construction plans and specifications.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
Review and approve contracts, purchase orders, and change orders, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with project goals.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety standards, and quality control, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, permits, and environmental regulations.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including budgets, schedules, progress reports, and inspection records.
Resolve any project-related challenges, such as delays, unforeseen issues, or client concerns, in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinate final inspections and ensure all punch list items are completed before the home is handed over to the client.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 AM
Skills:
Experience with custom homebuilding or high-end residential projects.
Certification in project management (PMP) or construction management (CCM) is a plus.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience in residential construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of residential construction processes, building codes, and quality standards.
Experience in managing multiple homebuilding projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and contracts.
Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and financial management principles.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with local permitting processes, safety regulations, and residential building codes.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
