Responsibilities:
Join seal corners according to specified guidelines.
Check gasket and magnet lengths to ensure they meet work instructions and quality standards.
Trim and pack gaskets for shipping, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
Perform general assembly and material handling tasks as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report any issues, including equipment malfunctions or quality concerns, to the supervisor.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
100% inspection of all corners of each gasket produced by the Automation Line.
Repair minor defects found during inspection.
Set up racks for use, including removing old tags and wiping them off.
Pack all inspected, good parts onto shipping racks for distribution.
Track and record all defects found during inspection.
Scrap unrepairable defects as time allows and follow proper disposal procedures.
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Ability to perform tests using and read a ruler accurately.
Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow written instructions, schedules, and specifications.
Ability to understand and visually detect defects in the production process.
Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and be a team player with a positive attitude.
Must be punctual and maintain good attendance.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Knowledge of production procedures, and the ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to accurately read a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch is a must
Must be able to lift and carry around 35 lbs. multiple times per day.
Previous machine operating experience required.
Mechanical aptitude and acceptable math skills.
Ability to stand and work throughout an entire shift (8 to 10 hours).
