- Leads all of shift production, ensure right people are in right places to drive quality, human and food safety to achieve success. - Ensure production needs are met for the daily and weekly schedule. - Practices flexibility with personal scheduling, as needed to support production requirements.- Assess equipment and people to drive continuous improvement and results; managing line efficiencies, key performance indicators and production downtime.- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and in appropriate working order; partner with food safety team to ensure break down, clean and assemble for mandatory start time every day.- Manage waste percentage, process improvements and operational functions to reduce down time. - Tracks key indicators of the production team?s performance including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor costs, and industrial accidents and communicating these indicators to the team for further action.- Partners with quality control, warehouse and logistics departments to achieve success.- Motivating and training members of the team to harness potential and execution of products- Assigning tasks to team members with training, giving direction with process and procedures to follow in carrying out tasks. - Perform or assist with the daily maintenance and sanitation of all of operation lines and equipment ensuring food safety compliance by completing EOD checklist. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality guidelines; following all GMP?s and wearing all required PPE.
1-4 years
- Technical Education (preferred)- Able to work independently- Effective time management skills
- HS Diploma/GED required- 2-3 years of recent experience in manufacturing environment- Excel in both written and oral communication- Critical thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data from multiple sources- Ability to deliver results utilizing the resources available
