- Schedule: AM Shift - Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 3:00 pm, OT as needed. PM Shift - Monday to Friday, 9:00pm to 6am

Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily production meetings with employees.
- Oversee daily production activities, including:
- Ensuring workplace safety for all employees.
- Managing product changeovers.
- Enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Maintaining product integrity and quality using HACCP and Quality Control Points.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Assurance teams to meet all quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Support audits, including GMP Certifications, SQF, and customer-specific audits.
- Track productivity metrics and ensure lines and employees meet or exceed efficiency standards.
- Maintain sanitary conditions and ensure production lines meet cleanliness guidelines.
- Lead and motivate the production team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs, efficiency, and production output.
- Oversee start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure finished product specifications, including labels, date codes, and case stickers, are met.
- Manage the training and utilization of Production Leads to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Partner with maintenance and safety teams to ensure equipment reliability and a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a technical or managerial field (relevant experience may substitute for a degree).
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety, sanitation, manufacturing operations, and quality standards.
- Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, RCA, CIL, Process Controls).
- Ability to work in a lean, agile, and dynamic environment.
- Comfortable with change and a strong advocate for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic software programs.
