Responsibilities:
- Work closely Planning team regarding interpretation of the MRP workbench and applicable planning information to create and close discrete jobs and create purchase requisitions for assigned planner codes and products.
- Ensure materials and processes are available to achieve established production schedules.
- Participate and support the production planning meetings providing detailed updates and plan status.
- Monitor MRP action notice and related information available to define workload and material requirements that support on time delivery of customer sales order, escalating discrepancies as needed.
- Establish and communicate daily production planning to Planning team and production staff. Monitors progress on priorities to assure completion of job to meet customer delivery schedule.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in business or technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of production planning/scheduling.
- APICS certification a plus.
- Must be a US Citizen
