-Oversee the entire production process while managing the production team to make sure everything is running smoothly from start to finish-Schedule work throughout shop/production and installation areas. Supervise monitors and assist with the performance of work in these areas as appropriate-Monitor the condition of shop/production equipment and the shop/production work area to assure them that the equipment remains in good working order and thatcleanliness and order are maintained-Conduct monthly production meetings to identify potential challenges and collectively brainstorm solutions-Monitor inventory levels for accuracy. Conduct mid-year/year-end inventory.-Meet or exceed production labor budget expectations-Enforce policies and procedures that facilitate Dakota Monument mission and values.-Serve as the Safety Manager, provides monthly safety meetings and safety compliance-Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity-Motivate employees to perform at their best through continuous training and development-Assist HR with recruiting in the hiring of new employees, release-discharge employees.-Participate in the Management Group meeting, budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing-Develop production systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures;develop processes for receiving products, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping-Communicate with legal counsel and safety department to ensure all processes remain compliant with OSHA and other governmental regulations-Perform other work-related duties as required

-Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Production, or a related field preferred-3-5 or more years of leading people in a production driven environment-In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems-Ability to analyze production budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize performance-leadership and team management skills-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities-Understanding safety management programs and leading people operating within these programs-Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management-Proven experience as a Production Manager or related field is preferred-Proven understanding of materials, tooling, machine tools, and manufacturing processes-Proficient in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Office-Possession of a valid driver's license and Ability to obtain a DOT Health Card-Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees
