We're seeking a skilled Press Operator to set up and operate multi-unit web presses to produce high-quality printed business forms. This role involves interpreting specifications, monitoring production quality, and ensuring equipment runs smoothly and safely. Responsibilities:
Set up and operate web press equipment according to job specifications.
Review specifications and prepare printing from web rolls to sheets or rolls.
Mount printing plates and set ink and tension to suit paper stock.
Monitor print runs, inspecting output and making adjustments as needed.
Use perforation, punching, and numbering equipment as required.
Perform safety inspections and document issues.
Track production metrics and ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with other departments and assist in identifying areas for cost savings or process improvements.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Skills:
General knowledge of web presses and printing operations.
Skilled in adjusting press settings for various paper stocks and production needs.
Ability to use specialized tools and devices for maintenance and adjustments.
Previous production experience in a similar role.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve basic problems.
Proficient in basic math skills; capable of reading, copying, and recording figures.
Basic reading, writing, and ruler-reading skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Familiarity with workplace safety practices and procedures.
Strong communication skills across departments.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and lift up to 70 lbs; capable of handling 600-lb paper rolls with equipment.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
