Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves or designated areas according to order specifications.
- Verify the quantity and description of items picked against order documents or electronic systems.
- Pack orders into appropriate containers, ensuring products are protected from damage during transit.
- Seal and label packages correctly with shipping information, addresses, and any special handling instructions.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track inventory, update order status, and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing packing materials and debris.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and operating warehouse equipment safely.
- Report any discrepancies or damages in orders or inventory to supervisors.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly productivity and accuracy goals.
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Skills:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to operate pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of packing methods and materials.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Read and understand order documents and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds (or more, depending on the specific job requirements).
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
