Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently enter new and refill prescriptions into the system to prevent dispensing errors.
- Triage incoming fax prescriptions and ensure timely processing and accurate cycle fill coding.
- Verify correct dosage calculations and ensure proper notes are entered in the computer system.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to calls with care, understanding, and routing them as needed.
- Assist with filing, packaging, profiling, and dispensing prescriptions as needed, while maintaining proficiency in all pharmacy systems.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Computer skills
- Pharmacy Technician License/certification/registration
- 2 years related experience
