Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Greeting & Support: Greet patients warmly and efficiently upon arrival, creating a welcoming and professional environment.
Phone Management: Answer a high volume of incoming calls with professional telephone etiquette, directing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accuracy and timely coordination of appointments.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, referring physician offices, and internal staff, fostering clear and timely communication.
Patient Registration: Accurately enter patient information into our computer system, ensuring data integrity.
Schedule Review: Print and review the daily schedule for exams, ensuring accuracy regarding the exam, diagnosis, patient preparation, and insurance requirements.
Insurance & Demographics Verification: Verify insurance details and patient demographics to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Payment Processing: Process co-pays and patient balances, ensuring proper billing and payment procedures are followed.
Medical Record Requests: Handle patient requests for medical records, including copies of images on CDs or reports, and ensure timely delivery to patients or other facilities.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as necessary to support the daily workflow and contribute to the smooth operation of the office.

Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a customer service-oriented role, preferably within healthcare settings.
Medical Office Experience: 1 year of experience in a medical office is highly preferred.
Medical Terminology: Core knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate accurate communication.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
