Responsibilities:
Follow AIDET guidelines in all patient interactions.
Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service.
Perform pre-registration and insurance verification for both inpatient and outpatient services.
Meet performance expectations, completing 10 registrations per hour.
Accurately assign insurance plans and confirm eligibility.
Collect patient cost share, quote, and make payment arrangements.
Contact patients to confirm demographic information and schedule appointments.
Ensure accurate documentation in Health Information Systems (i.e., Meditech).
Coordinate with Case Managers and physicians on authorization and referral issues.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and adhere to safety and compliance regulations.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
