Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scope and requirements.
- Source and obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors for accurate cost evaluations.
- Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and budgets in a timely manner.
- Track and analyze market trends, material costs, and labor rates to maintain competitive pricing.
- Assist in contract negotiations and review project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project costs for future reference.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.

1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in concrete work.
- Strong understanding of concrete materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
