- Operator must be able to set up the line and palletizer for efficient operation- Clean out and maintain magnets, hoppers, and cut in elevators- Always verify correct variety and amount of rice in bags- Conduct any light maintenance and troubleshooting needed- Ensure date code and any special wording is correct before running bags- Check bags frequently for the correct code- Cut-in bags with bad seals and other cosmetic defects to hopper at the line- All metal reject bags must be cut into metal reject bin- Adjust/program palletizer when necessary to ensure correct pallet pattern- Code dater must be maintained throughout shift and cleaned prior to end of shift- Clean area during downtime and as needed- Maintain floor free from rice, pallets, bags, and debris during shift- Comply and Maintain all Food Safety programs- Complete assignments as instructed- Perform quality checks on rice every hour and log results

- Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions- Ability to reach and lift below the chest- Twisting or bending- Ability to use hands to apply repetitive pressure or twisting- Ability to repetitively use fingers- Ability to use both hands at the same time- Ability to use both legs at the same time- Ability to work alone or apart from others- Pushing/pulling a maximum of 50 lbs.- Ability to work in an environment with a noise level > 85 dB
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience- High school diploma or equivalency preferred - Demonstrated ability to speak and read English to the degree necessary to perform the essential functions of the job safely and effectively- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow company policies, work rules and procedures- Demonstrated ability to understand and follow directions
