Our client is looking for an Office Specialist that will serve as the backbone of their day-to-day operations. This part-time role focuses on efficient office management, effective communication, and supporting both staff and volunteers to fulfill the organization's mission.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact via phone, mail, and in-person visitors
- Coordinate communications including newsletters, bulletins, social media, website updates, and announcements
- Oversee church calendar and building use scheduling
- Assist with billing, payroll processing, and monthly grant applications
- Supervise and support office volunteers
- Maintain accurate church and childcare financial records in collaboration with the finance team
- Track memorial donations and send acknowledgment letters
- Maintain a "time and talents" database and coordinate volunteer recruitment for services and events
- Schedule Sunday worship volunteers and assist with planning funeral support and hospitality needs
- Monitor and replenish supply inventory
- Collaborate with staff on building maintenance scheduling and organizational needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and hospitality skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
- Experience with databases, social media, and websites
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience in an office, church, or communications setting
