Responsibilities:
- Process and verify I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, in collaboration with the HR Manager
- Conduct in-person meetings with employees to collect and update personnel file information, maintaining accurate records
- Maintain and organize the HR filing system, including physical and digital personnel files, for easy retrieval and compliance
- Archive outdated personnel files and inactive records according to company policy and retention schedules
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks related to HR processes, such as onboarding and offboarding
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Experience with systems for data entry and record management
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations, particularly those related to I-9 compliance and personnel records
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of document management systems and archiving procedures
- Experience with basic report generation using excel
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, for communication, data management, and document creation
- Demonstrated experience in handling confidential information with discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees1 at all levels
