The Office Accounting Assistant is responsible for efficiently managing sales orders through QuickBooks, website, and email, coordinating with sales, warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

Prepare and verify invoices, create digital packing lists upon request, and provide vital support to sales reps by sharing order details, preparing product samples, and managing new product merchandising and marketing materials. In customer account management, they update records, process payments, handle inquiries, and manage returns.
Additionally, oversee inventory and website updates, including tracking new items, adjusting costs, and maintaining product information.
General duties include answering calls, greeting visitors, managing office supplies, organizing marketing materials, and supporting data and filing management.
This role ensures a smooth, organized workflow across departments, with occasional assistance to the Accounting Manager on administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
Support outside Sales Executives, the Accounting Manager, and the President.
Positively affect the customer perception of Funtastic Novelties whether the contact is a phone call,
personal visit, or internet experience.
Answer a multi-line phone and direct calls to their destination.
Liaison for all orders between sales, warehouse, and accounting.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
An associate degree is preferred, but significant related experience will be considered.
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and quickbooks

Qualifications:
Attention to detail is essential.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Must be proficient with QuickBooks or another simple accounting program.
Proven customer support experience and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
Must use MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Be comfortable with the internet, including Gmail.
Strong phone and active listening skills
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and the general
public
